STORE POLICIES

Things You Need to Know

In today’s online shopping market, we believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s why we designed the most generous, fair & transparent store policy for our customers. Read the following section to find out more about our goods.

Soaps are handmade through cold process. Approximately 4 oz each. Soaps are created with such things like with aloe and goat milk. Formulas vary for each soap - ingredients are listed on each bar. Soaps are never created with GMO (genetically modified) oils or animal fats. The soaps are created with sustainable, rain forest friendly, organic palm oil, olive oil, organic sunflower oil, coconut oil. Skin nourishing ingredients such as shea butter and/or cocoa butter are used when soap recipient calls for it. With these high-quality ingredients, it makes for a luxurious lather and scents. No soap is made with “melt and pour soap” base.

Calhoun Goods Company is not responsible for any individual reaction to any particular ingredient. Each product description on our website includes a complete list of ingredients. Please use extreme caution when burning candles. Burn candles at your own risk. Please read ingredients before using our bath/body goods. You are using the bath/body goods at your own risk. Calhoun Goods Company does not accept responsibility.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
As we try to be more environmentally responsible. Should you choose to reuse the candle glass please do so with extreme care. We can recommend the following instructions to clean the glass:

When you blow out the candle for the last time, wait for it to cool slightly so it is not too hot to pick-up.

While standing over a trash can, scoop the soft wax out of the jar with a handful of paper towels.

Use the paper towels to loosen the metal wick tabs from the bottom of the glass.

Once the wick tabs are removed, you may need a second handful of paper towels to remove remaining wax.

Once all wax is removed you can wash the remaining wax residue out with warm, soapy water.

We recommend hand washing glass for on-going use.

Please use extreme caution if cleaning the glass of wax & wicks. Cleaning the glass for reuse is at your own risk. Calhoun Goods Company does not accept responsibility for glass that breaks during this process.
